How to play
Each player selects an Ingredients list
Spread the Items Cards face down on the table.
The player takes turns to collect the items on their list if the card matches what is on the list the player keeps the card. If there is no match the player returns the card face down to its original position.
Play passes to the next player.
The winner is the player who collects all the items to become the Master Chef.
To make it more complicated..
As students become more proficient they can collect other Chef's ingredients to stop them making a recipe. At anyone one time a chef can have a maximum of 4 cards .
To return a card a Chef can place down a card before it's their turn to pick up.
Physical Response Games
Do you like...? Each child takes a food card. They take turns asking each other the questions, Do you like bananas? Do you like strawberries? They answer yes I do, or No I don´t and swap cards, they continue until they find their original card.
Fruit Salad -the children form a circle and each child has a vocabulary card, the teacher calls out two items and the children with those items must swap places, the first child gets the other childs place stays in the game, the other child goes into the middle and calls out two more vocabulary items.
